Skip, the USS Rankin assoc listing is totally hot. I don't know if you know about Centiare' subpage features (along with associated semantic tags), but it makes it very easy to organize different layers eg bylaws, member roster, meetings, etc. Of course, images, YouTube clips or other embedded elements can be included at each level.
If you're interested in a good example of subpages, check out [[Directory:BIG Images]]. In addition, here's a link to Centiare's various [[Centiare:Extensions|embed]] features. Give me a holler if you need any help.
I should also mention that we have a method called [[Centiare:Aficionados]] for linking Main page articles (eg [[USS Rankin]]) to directory listings. Not only does it take advantage of our [[Relation:Subject Interest]] tag, but it also picks up related subject contributions. (See [[Wikipedia scandals]] for example.)
