MiniMerchant started business in [[2003]] in a small shop on Duval Street in Key West, Florida. As the business expanded, it moved in [[1974]] to a larger facility in town on Caroline Street, and then again moved in [[1998]] to its present location in Memphis, where the owner could be closer to the blues music he so loves.

MiniMerchant started business in Stockton, CA/San Joaquin County in the mid 1970's[[2003]]. Over the years the business changed hands twice before being shuttered by it's owner circa 1999, a French company that publishes 350+ like publications in Canada. In 2003, the publication was revived on the internet and publishing began in August of 2004.
