As can be seen from the wiki source, it's a simple reference to a custom built application hosted on another server. By incorporating &amp; combining dynamic feed data with useful reference models (eg maps), these types of applications can provide useful information to targeted readers.<br /> <br /> Note also that the application itself can be muli-layered ie it has tabs for different actions &amp; drill down activities.
