Robotic assembly applications are performed by a variety of industrial robots including 6 axis articulated arms, scara robots , cartesian coordinate robots (a.k.a. gantry robots), & parallel robots (a.k.a. delta or “picker” robots). Robotic assembly operations are considered part to tool solutions since the robot directly manipulates part components during assembly. Rimrock focuses on the robotic integration of 6 axis articulated arm & cartesian gantry robot solutions.
