Number Direct is one of the leading telephone directory services in the United Kingdom. It also serves as a source for company news, features and commentary. 



== Company History == 
Number Direct was the brainchild of Brenda Priddy, a former employee in the telecommunications sector who had a passionate interest in customer service. Knowing that it would often be difficult for customers to find a company's telephone number, Brenda established Number Direct in June 2013. The business is an online website providing a list of routed telephone numbers to easily get in contact with business. 
Number Direct went through a major rebrand towards the end of 2013 during which it went from a sole venture to employing several staff members. Together, they changed Number Direct from a simple directory into a hub of news, features and commentary related to the business sector. 
The website was redesigned so the front page of the website took on a magazine format. News was also incorporated onto the company pages and articles were regularly added to the homepage. Some of the most popular stories on Number Direct included an analysis of the data problems related to the photo sharing app Snapchat and a video showcasing Google's self-driving cars.
